An airport security guard who was apparently dismissed from her job without being given reasons, under new anti-terrorist measures, is suing the UK government for damages.

The woman was employed as a security guard at London's Heathrow Airport by BAA plc in October 2002. A year later she was suspended after the government introduced stricter anti-terrorism measures.
